Weekly Reflection of Teaching Practice (Week 2)

                             The second week of our teaching practice section was more comfortable than the first week. On 21^st November 2016 Monday I had classes in IX-C during the fifth period . I taught the continuation of the memoir “The Jungle Air Crash”.

                        

                          On Tuesday I had classes during third period and sixth period. Our principal visited us and checked our lesson plans. On Wednesday I had class in IX-A during third period and IX-C during the seventh period. I took the portion ‘Sentences’ with Advance Organizer Model. I could effectively taught and it was a different experience for me. On Thursday I completed the memoir “The Jungle Air Crash” and made a revision of the lesson.

                       On Friday I had class during the third period and I taught a new poem “Another Chance”. I could introduce the poem in a variety manner. Unexpectedly our optional teacher visited the class.

                       I could make the classes interesting and use the teaching aids effectively. I could manage the classes well and also the students responsed in a good manner. We participated in the noon feeding programme and school assembly. Totally the week was satisfied and felt pleasure. 

Weekly Reflection of Teaching Practice (week 1)

                 As part of the B.Ed. Degree course 2015-17 , we have to attend the 

teaching practice section at Govt. H.S.S Chithara. This section of teaching practice is to be done in two parts. First part is from 2016 November 15^th to 30^th and second part is from 2017 January 3^rd to 30^th.  There is nineteen trainees at this school from various optionals.

                On November 7^th I got time table and portions from Akhil Das Sir, who is in charge of IX-C . I have to attened IX-C class. There is thirtythree students in my class. On the first day I introduced myself to the students and I wanted them to introduce themselves individually. From the second day itself I began to take classes as per the lesson plan. I could create a good rapport with the students. I could also use my teaching aids successfully.  Also  the students communicated and responsed very well.

                There is around 1500 students and sixty teachers in this school. Many clubs and voluntary organisations works in the school. In the school lunch meals are provided for the students. We served food for the students daily. On 17^th and 18th we conducted drawing competition for students as part of School Youth Festival. The last week was a  wonderful week of satisfaction for me...
