WEEKLY REFLECTION ON TEACHING PRACTICE (WEEK 6)

The sixth week of our teaching practice started on 23rd January, 2017 Monday.
On Monday I had class in IX-C during the fifth period and I completed the memoir ‘The Making of a Scientist’. On Tuesday I had class during the sixth period in IX-C and I gave notes of the completed lesson and taught them the composition ‘telephone conversation’. On Wednesday I had class in IX-C during the second period. I started the next lesson ‘Climate change is not hysteria-it’s a fact’. It is a speech by Leonardo DiCaprio. On Thursday, we celebrate The Republic Day in the school. On Friday I had class in IX-C during the third period. I taught them the last part of the speech and gave notes. On Saturday I done the achievement test in IX-C during the third and fourth periods.

I could make the classes interesting and use the teaching aids effectively. I could manage the classes well and also the students responsed in a good manner. We participated in the noon feeding programme, school assembly and Republic Day Celebrations.
